This 2006 Ford Mustang was purchased by the owner brand new. There was only 61 miles on it when the owner completely disassembled the drive train. After six months of engineering, research, and development, the owner began ordering parts, some of which had to be custom made. It took another two months to accumulate all of the parts and components from around the country then the actual building of the project began. After trial and error, the owner came up with this magnificent, unique, Roush brand new 460 engine. Under the hood sports a Be Cool Radiator with dual Be Cool electric fans. Then the owner used March serpentine pulleys (everything is Billet aluminum from the power steering pump to the air conditioner pump). MSD ignition, digital 6T (That’s the distributor and ignition). That’s when the owner went to a Roush 460/600h.p. engine with 560lbs. torque at the rear wheels. The owner used dual 650 Hollys to obtain a 427 old school look. It has a Viper Tremic 6-speed transmission (T56), Spec clutch, and Lakewood shatterproof bell housing. Dyno Tech did the owner’s driveshaft for him. Anthony Jones Engineering designed the front K-Member and the front suspension to adapt a big block into the car. They fabricated a whole new specialty engineered K-member and tubular A-arms into the front. That was a unique engineering process that they came up with for the owner. The headers on the 460 Mustang are all custom-made, all equal length tubes, all mandrel bent and Tig welded. These are 2 ¼” header tubes. They go into 4 ½” collectors. From the collectors, they go into a 3 ½”, which goes over the rear axle housing all the way back to the Flowmaster mufflers with 4 1/2 “ exhaust. All powder coated inside and out. It is a lifetime exhaust system. Also, around the area of the transmission, there are manual cut-outs. The owner used a manual lever on the dumps and it works and looks great. There is a custom made heavy duty Dyno Tech driveshaft connected to a completely brand new Moser 9” rear end with a True Track case and a 370 gear. The front tires are Hoosiers, on what were originally 10 ¼” SVT wheels, which were cut to 6” to accommodate Skinny Front runners. The back wheels are about 11” wide and the tires are Riken Raptors. The rear suspension is a BMR4-link, which is fully adjustable. It has disc brakes all the way around. The Qa-1 coil-over shocks are fully adjustable. The owner eliminated the single strut rod on the hood and used MRT struts to hold it up and it looks and works much better. The interior is all GT leather seats and trim. The stereo system is a 6-speaker Shaker 500 with 6-CD changed. It has a real nice sound to it. The unique MSD shift light can be adjusted to whatever gear you want and will light up at the shift point. The first four shift points can be programmed manually to the desired RPM settings. The Optima battery is trunk mounted. All outside lights have blackout lenses; it gives the car a very ominous look. It has a front chin spoiler. There are no overheating problems at all. This 2006 Mustang was engineered by Phil Redlin and built by Jake’s High Performance (No expenses were spared). There are only 785 actual miles. All parts are brand new.
